About Avatar: the last airbender
Avatar: The Last Airbender tells the story of the last remaining airbender, who
is also the avatar, a young boy named Aang. It is his burden is to defeat the
Fire Lord and restore peace to a ravaged world. Aang befriends Katara and Sokka,
siblings that know up close and personal the might and brutality of the Fire
Nation.
The Fire Nation's ambitious leader, Fire Lord Ozai, has created another
seemingly heartless monster to hunt the avatar down: Zuko, his sixteen year old
son. His son, who is supposedly the heir to the throne, but was banished for
speaking out of turn, his only hopes of redemption to capture the avatar.
Aang must also find himself an earthbending teacher...and there is a destined
one. But can he find her?
Aang must master all four elements and take down the Fire Lord- but he'll need
help, and that help will come from the most unexpected places...as "villains"
meet at the crossroads of their destiny and discover who they really are.
Can Aang restore balance to the world?
