Lee wears her hazel hair in a long braid bound with a dusky pink ribbon. She
sports a dusky pink top that sages freely from her torso. She wears a band
around her waste, and from that band dangle magenta slits that form a skirt. She
wears baggy pink pants that come to a tight end near her ankles. She also dons

Ty Lee grew up the daughter of a wealthy nobleman, in a set of identical septuplets-each in turn as adorable as the other. Ty Lee disliked the monotony, and was terrified that this was how she may have to spend the rest of her life; in a matched set.She attended The Royal Fire Nation Academy for Girls, where she met Mai and Azula. Ty Lee ran away from home later on in her life and joined the circus to gain a sense of individuality. However, she stayed willingly, genuinely content with her new life. However, Azula, seeking a new recruit, manipulates Ty Lee into joining her. Ty Lee serves Azula faithfully and loyally alongside Mai. However, when the threesome journey to the Boiling Rock to pay the then captive Zuko a visit, Mai betrays Azula to rescue her beloved.
Azula readies to kill Mai, but Ty Lee, clearly closer to Mai than she is Azula, saves her. Azula, disabled at the hands of Ty Lee, orders her two best friends imprisoned forever. However, after Zuko assumes the throne, Ty Lee is released and joins the Kyoshi Warriors, excited that she will get to start life over.
Personality
Ty Lee is happy go lucky and care-free. Ty Lee also seems to be a bit of kiss-up as she is always flattering Azula with unnecessary compliments and constantly laughs at her jokes. Additionally, Ty Lee seems to have some vanity issues, as she once battled the Kyoshi Warriors, defeating her opponent with a haughty, "You are not prettier than we are." She also seems to have a romantic bond with Sokka.Bending
Ty
lee is not a bender herself. However, she is able to block chi flow in a
bender's body, which prevents them from bending. Even in a nonbender she is able
to block pressure points and paralyze her oponent. As one can see in the picture
to the left, Ty Lee is disabling Katara's pressure points/bending. However, in order to inflict significant damage on her adversary, Ty Lee must come in close range. This allows her to block pressure points, as well as take away conscious control of a person's body.
Ty Lee is also very agile and acrobatic, her flexibility even landing her a role in the circus. Ty Lee is able to leap abnormally high and she has displayed an uncanny amount of balance and coordination.
