Zhao Yun

Game Biography:

Zhao Yun is portrayed as valiant, respectful, and passionate in the video game. These are traits he harbors even in reality, with a great amount of incredible deeds to his name. Dubbed the "Little Dragon" (in the game, "Dragon of Chang Ban") Zhao Yun has certainly earned his title. He saved his lord's son, Liu Shan, from a vast and powerful army; and his lord's own life on multiple occasions. Zhao Yun's only dream is to one day see China living in peace, harmoniously, with no wars and virtually no death. He seeks to accomplish this dream, without forgetting virtue and honor-the reason he left Yuan Shao's side and joined Liu Bei. In the game, another reason he joined the ranks of Liu Bei was due to a  battle with Lu Bu, in which Liu Bei rescued him from certain death. Promising to repay the obligation, Zhao Yun fled to safety.
Zhao Yun then devoted the rest of his life to fighting for the dreams of his lord. 

Historic Biography:

Even at seventy, he was rumored to be an immensely talented warrior-he defeated numerous officers that were at the prime of their youth easily even as an elder. He was much adored by the strategist, Zhuge Liang, who was desolate upon Yun's death. Zhao Yun, in the game, is portrayed as selfless, willing to sacrifice his own life to save his lord's.  Additionally, he seems to be of forgiving nature, as revealed in the battle of Yi Ling, when he overlooks Liu Bei's rash and poor decision. Zhao Yun eventually died of natural causes.
