This is where you can learn about all the characters that will ever appear in the epic. Please take time to read as many biographies as you can, because most of this valuable information will never be listed in the epic

Name: Reina

Personality: Sweet, childish, happy, and playful

Age: 14

Homeland: Royalty Village, Ara

Rank: Protector

First appearance: Chapter 1

Weapon: Fans

Bio: Reina was once the princess of the entire Ara, until the so called death of Revony, her father, occurred. Espiarus bandits started a fire down on the main camp of Royalty Village. Every soldier died, and when Revony escaped, knowing he would die if he didn't, everyone assumed that the mighty man had been killed. However, Kylani's mother seized the man, and took him to a hidden prison, that no one in the entire Espiarus knew of. There he was locked away, waiting for the opportune time to escape. But back in Ara, his death affected Reina's life more than ever. Her miserable, lonely mother took control, but to get over the gruesome death, she took all sorts of drugs and would never stop drinking red whine, until she simply went crazy. She had Reina banished from Ara, where she was forced to leave the castle, and somehow survive. She finally came across a kind family of farmers in the distant mountains. However, only did she live gleefully for a moon, when Kylani struck. When it was said that Revony was dead, and word got to the land, she was much angered, knowing that no longer could she kill him, to take revenge for her father. She had finally decided to hunt down Reina, the pride and joy of the man. Along with a gang of fierce guards, they kidnapped Reina, and took her to the most grueling prison of Espiarus, behind a hidden garrison at the rear of Espiarus (by Ziyi river.) However, Reina wasn't going down without a fight. She and Kylani dueled on a skeleton bridge until Kylani had summoned guards, much impressed with Reina's skill. Kylani decided to force Reina into serving her force, although she was unsuccessful. Reina refused to serve under darkness, and persuaded Kylani's very own guards to betray her. She then convinced them to help her escape. Once she did, life followed into far more complicated patterns. She returned to Ara, but found the farm burnt to flames. Reina's heart nearly broke at the sight of broken wood and ash. But she refused to be cut down, as the headstrong person she was. She finally decided to take a ship to Congrella, Corrionder; and where she was at once spotted, and brought her to Aaron (Ardin's father who was at the moment at power) at once. Aaron decided that she was much a beauty for her young age of thirteen, and requested that she stay in the castles until she was fifteen, when the two would be married. Reina felt much against being wedded to such a man at such a young age, but agreed believing that she could escape within the next two years. However, the very next morning, Aaron didn't awake, and it was soon reported that he was dead. His loyal strategist, Asa, much suspected his son, Ardin, a tangy young boy that certainly could not be trusted, not even by his own father. But the next day, Asa was nowhere to be seen. Reina was much panicked at all these deaths and disappearances, but the moment she met Ardin, an odd aura pulsated in her body, and spoke: It was him, Ardin that had caused all this. Reina explained that she had to be leaving to the seventeen-year-old boy (at the time) and the very next day was on her way back to Ara, where she lived in a shelter for a few moons, until she could afford a small hut in the Fishing Village. Moons later, a letter was sent to the home, explaining that she was now promoted from a villager to a- protector! And from that moment on, Reina was treated greatly, as some sort of high positioned ruler. Currently, Reina lives the life of any protector, saving lives, doing her duties, and such, although there's something bothering her: Nene. In chapter 12, she doesn't quite have the greatest impression on Nene, and it is rather clear that they aren't going to be the best of friends. But their spite (which soon becomes very active) gets the two into rather critical danger in the future, and is the cause of (is said to be) the cause of Eric's disappearance in season four. (You will find that this isn't true in the future.) Anyways, in the future on the night of the Celtic Moon, she and Ardin go together, until Reina demands the truth on the death of his father, and for their honor, leaves him. But it's not over, Reina's love life. When meeting Lysander, a friend of Darren's, the two prove to be much compatible.

Name: Kanata

Personality: Mannerly, serious, and adventurous

Homeland: Mei, Corrionder

Rank: Protector

Specialties: Music (clarinet), geography

Age: 14

First Appearance: Chapter 1

Weapon: Clarinet

Bio: The day after she was born, Kanata was sent to a foster home at once. She was convinced when turning four years old that her parents were dead, but eventually decided that they had to be alive, or at least her father. Life was hard, but happy at the orphan age. Every moment of her life was spent thinking of wherever her parents could be, until she turned eleven and her life changed entirely. Kanata practically forgot about her parents, and moved on entirely. She was given a clarinet on her birthday, and naturally learned. The clarinet was soon in her heart and soul. However, her adventurous personality had always gotten her into trouble, but now it was really here, and ready to strike. Overhearing men speak of a treasure land through the forest pathway, Kanata set out deciding that the path would most likely go nowhere, and that she would be back before supper. But after exploring the forest and going down the path, Kanata found herself lost, (as it was just her to get lost), and soon found that following the path was the only way she would survive another day in the grueling place. As she suspected it would, the path lead to Congrella. Once encountering the lovely village, Kanata decided that she would at least explore before hurrying down the path, or asking for a lift back to Mei. Before she could make another move, men swarmed her, and brought her back to Ardin's castle. He decided to let her stay freely in Congrella, that is until he decided to let her return to Mei. Days later, Ardin and her spoke in a courtyard by the well, and she was excused. Once back at Mei, Kanata's heart sank to find that the foster home was now a busy market. Villagers explained that it had been burnt down by Espiarus bandits, and offered her a new adobe home, where she lived in for a year, until becoming a protector. Later on, she and Darren prove to have a relationship. ^^

At age eleven, Nene ran away, and was missing for two moons, until returning to Ra Fei. it is never clear on where she ran away to, but it was believed that she had left to a Fishing village far from Ra Fei's royalty village. When returning, a large celebration was held, although Nene was greatly punished by her father, after forcing the words out of her mouth. Howevere, in chapter ten when meeting Eric, the two instantly fall in love, although in the future go on very rough courses. In chapter thirty-four, the protectors are called to Ra Fei once again, where they find Nene severely ill. According to records, and the miserable doctor of Ra Fei, there's never been such an illness... in the entire Myuri. Nene loses all measures of faith, seeing as there is no cure that the doctor can find, and predicts that she has at the very most a moon or less to live. In chapter thirty-six, Eric vanishes, and it is believed that it is for the bickering between Nene and Reina in the past (as you read on, you will find that the two are beyond bitter rivals, but can't stand one another). However, Eric returns, knowing the cure, but seeing as the only cure is dependant on him, Eric is unsure if he is up for it, especially if he can manage it...

Name: Kylani

Personality: Evil, devious, and tricky

Homeland: Ebony, Espiarus

Age: 18

First Appearance: Chapter 3

Weapon: Twin Maces (Chui)

Bio: Kylani was born as the daughter of the Espiarus nobleman, Lord Howell. He was a kind, just man that quickly earned the current king's favor. The King, upon his old age, and having no sons, appointed Lord Howell the next king, much to the disapproval of his strategist. His strategist was of foreign heritage and possessed the gift of clairvoyance. He sensed that Howell's reign would be a rough time for Espiarus. This angered the king, who made Howell king regardless. King Howell's reign proved to be a blessed time for Myuri! He was kind and noble and honest. It was his wicked daughter Kylani that would end these times for Espiarus...

As a child Kylani was forced into extensive martial arts, fencing, and other arts of battle training. She came to loathe her father for his superiority over her. Kylani liked to be in control. She also disliked the strategist that had tried to keep her father from power. Kylani soon became invincible and unmatched in her skill of combat. She was once again forcibly placed into an elite battle unit by her father. Kylani was only able to find this bearable because of her loving mother, who soothed her often. But when her mother died, a shattered Kylani decided enough was enough. She rebelled against her own father and murdered him, and came to power as the royal queen of Espiarus. The strategist did everything in his power to prevent her coronation, but being the only remaining member of the royal family left Kylani was immediately made queen. And her first royal decree was that the strategist be stripped of his power and thrown in the dungeons.

Kylani then traded in her spear, with which she had been trained, for two maces (chui) which are weapons that are slender poles with two globe shaped spheres at their tips. She did this because the globes were to represent the heads of her father and the strategist, both of whom she despised. Kylani appointed her friend, Aranea as her strategist and soon befriended the Heiji sisters-a trio of mystics that possessed supernatural abilities (black shadow magic) due to their foreign lineage. She made a best friend out of the youngest Heiji sister, Zelda Heiji.

Kylani is a fine warrior-Espiarus's finest, in fact. She is acrobatic, agile, lightning-quick, flexible, invincible, and merciless. She is a master with her weapons and her agility in dodging and hand-to-hand combat, Myuri's greatest threat. Her dream is to conquer the island as her own, one city state at a time.

When she encounters a pumped up Reina intent on ending her life, even her unbeatable skills in battle are not enough to save herself from being pushed off a cliff. Miraculously (or maybe not so miraculously due to her strength) Kylani survives the mile high drop and returns to Espiarus. However upon her return the medics proclaim that Kylani is so severely injured that if she survives she will be permanently crippled. Kylani, not wanting this, turns to Aranea for any options that might save her life. Aranea announces that her only option is risky-she can tie her life force to that of someone else's, meaning that their lives are one so if one person dies so does the other. Kylani decides to do this against Aranea's warnings. Knowing that the Heiji sisters are immortal, Kylani decides to tie her life force to them. Aranea explains that this may seem like a fool-proof plan but is actually quite risky because the Heiji sisters themselves share a single life force, and immortality is a gift that can be recollected. Additionally the Heiji sisters are the only people that can conduct the ceremony and will probably not be all for it. So Aranea is forced to find another mystic that can do the ceremony as well. She comes to meet a mysterious woman imprisoned in Congrella on the charges of being a crazed lunatic. She discovers the old woman is a mystic that agrees to do the ceremony, as she seems to harbor negative feelings towards the Heiji sisters for unexplained reasons. She ties Kylani's life force to the that of the Heiji sisters, and then attempts to leave Espiarus. But Kylani decides to keep the woman under her custody in case she would like to conduct any spells without Zelda's knowing.

Later on (Chapter 100: Series Finale) the Heiji sisters, having been stripped of their immortality, are killed when Ariella is crushed as Mt. Ascendon collapses. Kylani, who is rushing to the scene, suddenly doubles over in pain. When she screams to Aranea to ask why this is, Aranea regretfully explains that the Heiji sisters are dying and that as a result, she too is dying.

She and Kylani have sent Reina to Ra Fei, where the protectors must fine her for themselves and return to Kylani to fight- only if they have Reina. Aranea eventually meets Aaron, the son of Kylani in later chapters, and the two will soon fall in love.
