(New affiliate! Check it out! By the way, just want to make in clear, we're still waiting on Moon Writer.)) The first Writer's Booth issue has been sent, and if you missed it, it's not too late to subscribe. Be sure to register for the all new library card, it will register you for the Writer's Booth, a spot in book club, a spot in the library staff, an update newsletter (advanced form, including EVERY updated detail, slightly different from updates displayed), every new story before it's posted, an address to a private discussion box page, and far more than what the average library card has to offer! However, if you would like to be subscribed for the regular library card, please contact me for more information, and I'll get the library card to you right away. Anyways, great news! Season 2 of book club is starting, and if you missed season 1, you may want to try it out! For more info, please go to http://www.thecheung.com/kylie/book_club.htm. What going to change in book club? At the end of this season, (seven Fridays), the Writing Festival will occur! Five weeks deep into book club, a special project will be assigned to members, and on the last week, members will write a short (or long/medium) story and decide on which category (fiction, series, data/records, fan fiction, plays) their story belongs in. If it is a series book, member must write at least one or two other stories whenever he/she desires. The Writing festival will display all writing pieces/projects on a page. Stories will be put into their proper book shelves. All book club members will then become library staff members. I'll be updating the staff page today, so if you haven't been added yet, check today. I'm going to be getting new polls up and such and maybe get a more decent activities page. I plan to get the Gardener's journal soon. The Writing Festival is nearing so book club members PLEASE be prepared. The Writing Festival, by the way is really drawing soon! We have a new story called "Magnolia."
